General KnowledgeGeography
- Aionosphere
- Btroposphere
- Cstratosphere
- Dmesosphere
Explanation
About 90% of atmospheric ozone is concentrated in the ozone layer within the stratosphere, roughly 15–35 km above the surface, where it absorbs harmful solar ultraviolet radiation. The troposphere holds only about 10% of atmospheric ozone. The ionosphere and mesosphere contain negligible amounts of ozone. The stratosphere is therefore the correct atmospheric layer.
