In this section each item consists of six sentences of a passage. The first and sixth sentences are given in the beginning as S1 and S6. The middle four sentences in each have been jumbled up and labelled as P, Q, R and S. You are required to find the proper sequence of the four sentences and mark your response accordingly on the Answer Sheet.
S1 : When the young man returned after a month, the sorceress asked him if he had planted a particular tree.
S6 : And to remove the doubt, he had to look for it in thick jungle and found only one tree bearing those roses.
P : "There," she said, "in that place many hundred years ago, a holy man had planted such a tree, hoping thereby to win a blessing in Heaven."
Q : "Alas!" said the young man, "I have planted only one tree."
R : "If you had planted three trees, you would have assured that your prayer would be answered," she replied.
S : "What! Only one?" she asked, "Where are the other two? You should have planted three such trees!"

- BP Q R S
- CR S Q P
- DS P Q R
Explanation
S1 has the sorceress ask about the planted tree, and P gives the backstory of the holy man's tree. Q is the young man's dismayed admission that he planted only one tree, R her conditional reply about planting three, and S her exclamation 'Where are the other two?' — the doubt that S6 resolves when he searches the jungle and finds only one such tree. Hence (b) P-Q-R-S.
