Explanation
S1 reports the theft case handed to the magistrate; Q summons the villagers for Monday and P tells them lodging is arranged. S notes their joy at visiting the city for the first time, and R their great excitement. S6 — they must go to the city to give evidence — follows this buildup naturally. The chronological chain Q-P-S-R is therefore correct. Hence (c).
