Explain the meaning of colour-coded weather warnings for: a) Rainstorms b) Thunderstorms c) Duststorms

Colour coded weather warnings represents the level of threat that is possible due to oncoming weather phenomenon. It is released by IMD in India. It helps in taking preventive measures and preparedness for the disaster. Red usually refers to the highest level of threat – chances of high rainstorms, thunderstorms or duststorm Green usually refers to lowest level of threat. eg Light rain or storms that would not cause much effects
