Female labour force participation means the number of working women in the total labour force of the country. The data is presented in annual survey of PLFS. Female participation according to data: (1) Increase in participation of women workforce e.g. PLFS data (2021-22) female LFPR - 30% LT (2) Only case of female in STEM courses 43% ( highest in the world) (3) Shortages in pay for women e.g PLFS data Pay gap between men and women decreased by IY.
