Main Body

Land subsidence means a density and slow process wherein the inability of soil to further take the load above its surface. Natural factors: (1) Excess water between the poresmakes the soil weak. (2) Landslide materials accumulating over the time (as in foothills) (3) Due to natural events like earthquake, levied shale the soil materials depends on core soil type. Anthropogenic factors: (1) Uncast anable construction (eg in recent land subdivide in UP Archand).
