As per Supreme Court ruling women participation in armed forces has been allowed. Women training in NDA on part with men boost role of women in armed forces. However low rate of women in armed forces of India due to Multiple challenges: 1) Gender structure - Patriarchal nature of society hinder participation. 2) Lack of dedicated infrastructure such separate toilets and rooms for women personnel. 3) Attitude of Juniors - Consider women officers as weak. Meet of not following orders. (via submission by government) 4) Dual care responsibility - Dual burden of care work on women. 5) Posting problems - Women in armed forces can be posted in any areas. Family problems. 6) Lack of family support due to inherent quick factor for women in army. 7) Gender discrimination in promotions and giving permanent commission.

Thus India need to reform its military recruitment and training practices to overcome discrimination and provide equal opportunity to 'Nari Shakti' in 'Bharati Seng'.
