According to the Climate Risk Vulnerability Index 2030 by German Watch, India is among the top 10 most vulnerable countries due to climate change. 68% of India's vulnerable to drought, 12% to cyclones, 8% to floods, 10% to locust attacks, 70% and is worsened. All the above displays are set to rise in the wake of climate change. Thus climate resilient agriculture is needed. HOW TO ACHIEVE CLIMATE RESILIENT AGRICULTURE: 1. REVIVING TRADITIONAL AGRICULTURAL TECHNIQUES - like that of those included in FAO's Agricultural Heritage list -> land-use farming along with high bearing. 4. DIVERSIFICATION OF AGRICULTURE - by introducing & promoting animal rearing, beekeeping, horticulture etc to reduce role due to climate change climate change is a reality and the IPCC depicts highlights its inevitability, thus preparing beforehand for food security becomes crucial to safeguard our SDGs by 2030.
