Waste Circularity upon the cyclical usability of waste as a valuable input materials for other purposes. A diagram shows waste flowing into: Energy Production (into grid), Fertilizer (into field), and Scrap/waste (into industry), all within waste circularity framework. Key Principles: (1) Waste Separation at Source - Plastic waste, Wet waste, Dry waste, Radioactive waste.

1Waste Collection - By different departments under municipality. (2) Waste Processing - Crushing, wrapping, compost formation, Bio fuel, fermentation producing almost all. (3) Distribution - Return back to the consumer as new resources. Government Initiatives: (1) Solid waste management rules. (2) EIA - Environmental Impact Assessment to reduce waste. (3) E-waste & Plastic Waste management rules. (4) Municipality Awareness through 'Gadi Wala News Ghar Se Bachtra Wika' promotes community participation.

Efficacy of Measures: (1) Proper implementation in Indore, Surat, Lucknow have led to high rankings in Swachh Samvaledhan. (2) Reduced waste through increased Resource startups & NGOs like Go Barefoot College harness waste circularity to ensure capacity building. But: (1) Expenditure in waste processing has been minimal; STPs are not ubiquitous. (2) Civic Service not all pervasive leading to waste not separated at home. This has led to India importing steel, displace producers, sometime. Need is to have compliance mechanism that incentivizes waste separation, promoting SDAC as well as SDAD.
