Recently world's largest grain storage under Cooperatives was developed in India. This highlights importance of Cooperative Sector in India.

Role of Cooperatives in farmers financial: (1) Credit availability: to increase farm production. E.g. [65000 PPCs] in India. (2) Fertiliser availability: E.g. IFFCO for nano-urea for farmer. (3) Provide high-yielding seeds to improve production. (4) Mechanisation of forms: by renting instruments, tractors etc.
