In light of the new and upcoming challenges faced by the Global South, discuss the role that India can play in empowering the voice of the Global South. (Answer in 150 words)

Global South constituted of Africa, Latin America, Asia, America and now developing Former colonies & now developing economies constitute 2/3 of global population but have less than 30% global resources. Challenges faced by Global Souths: (1) Political - Under-representation at forums like UNSC, WTO etc. is victim of great power politics - Afghanistan (USA role) (2) Economic - is poverty, low income countries is absence of access to resources is exploitation - mining (e.g) DRC for cobalt. (3) Social - is low education, health & social welfare indicators is political instability marked by absence of social security.
