Recent years have witnessed a concerning decline in Parliament's functioning, marked by frequent disruptions and reduced debate on crucial national issues. Analyze the reasons for the decline in Parliament's functioning in the country and suggest remedial measures.

Parliament is the temple of democracy which represent public will and upholder of social contract. However recent year there is decline in delivering of this function: (1) Rising case of ordinance passed without due deliberation in the house => more than double in 18th Lok sabha than previous one. (2) lack of involvement of parliamentary committee in purity of laws. (3) Use of ethics committee against appointed for targeting. & Rahul (4) Disruption caused by not allowing opposition.

Reason for reduced functioning: (1) Criminalization of politics with rise of people with these backgrounds => therefore reduce deliberation capacities.
