Indian mythology, art and architecture is heavily decorated with figures of animals and trees which also include tigers and elephants. SIGNIFICANCE (1) It now becomes a source for exploring the social and natural environment of historic times. Eg: Padamavati seal of IVC contains Bull elephant rhino & tiger thereby confirming longtevities of preserve of these animals.
