Social accountability initiatives require to societal measures to make government or NGOs responsible for their actions & behaviours. By social audit in MGNREGA. Challenges & vulnerabilities in social accountability - (1) It is sporadic & at small-scale which cannot be extrapolated or generalised over large areas. (2) lack of skilled auditors. (3) Institutionalisation is a time-taking long duration process. (4) Awareness generation issues, illiteracy among masses, digital divide to use social media.
