Social Accountability Law leading to good governance: a) Ensures accountability - is timelines to be respected responsibility fixed of officials. b) Quality service delivery. c) Grievance redressal mechanism. d) Compensation mechanism - is in case of non-delivery of public service. Boost citizens participation: A) Mechanism of social audits - is for effective monitoring by MANREGA b) Citizens Charter - is in consultation with people for parameters, and Andhradesa. c) Transparency - is vied attract public confidence & participation. Thus a social accountability law is a good way to fulfil constitutional obligations towards citizens. Yet concerns of staff shortages, bureaucratic apathy, allegiances in functioning at-need to be tackled for do effective implementation.
