Factors for adopting parliamentary system: (1) Historical factor: India was more familiar with parliamentary system compared to presidential system when it had no experience. (2) Collective Responsibility: In parliamentary system executive is responsible to legislature unlike Presidential system. It was done to that people's voices are heard more effectively.
