Universal Basic Income refers to the bare minimum amount of money of monetary support to each citizen of the country despite its economic status. UBI as a viable solution to extreme poverty: (1) Alleviate inclusive growth as an agenda through poverty alleviation by providing the bare minimum needed to come above poverty line. World Bank defines poverty line as $1.9 dollar per day. (2) Addresses access to basic amenities by clean shelter & water, food etc. (3) Resolve social inequity by rigorous standards of living. Discuss with Universal Basic Income: (1) Lead to productive air initiative deprivation inducing labour for participation. (2) Would reduce economic disparity to earn to reduced productivity would & indirect competition in market.
Conclusion
