Scope & Significance of Supreme Court's Advisory Jurisdiction: (1) Discretionary supreme court to accept or reject advisory. (2) Exception taken on implementing a pre-constitutional treaty. (3) President has to adhere and is binding. (4) Advisory jurisdiction not breaking on precedent in other cases. (5) A constitutional bench of 5 DY member or 7 frame to be set up to take up case under Article 143. (6) Advisory jurisdiction by petition is undertaken on aid of cabinet of ministers & cannot discharging.
