Socialist meaning: => Resources of the state shall be owned by government on behalf of the citizens. => Welfare nature of state: DPSP. Art.38: welfare of citizens Art.39a: adequate mean of livelihood. Art.39b: ownership and control of community resources for greater good of all => Mixed economy: existence of both public and private sector. Secular meaning: (1) Art 25-28: Federal right to practice, preach, propagate any religion. (2) Equal protection of all religions and equal promotion.
