Briefly explain the procedure laid down in the Representation of the People Act (RPA), 1951 for the registration of political parties with the Election Commission of India (ECI). What are Registered Unrecognised Political Parties (RUPPs)? What concerns are associated with them? Does the ECI have power to deregister a party as per RPA?

Reg RPA, 1951 authorizes ECI to register political parties. Procedure To register on the group: i) must have a correspondence in the state & a constitutional offset for political office. ii) a procedural framework to give a political office occupied by people. iii) details of political office occupied by people. Registered Unrecognised Political Parties are those which are registered but don't have a national/state party status. Concerns associated with them: 1) Lack of activity of many such parties in recent elections. 2) Lack of internal democratic practices. 3) The details given to ECI do not match with other queries. 4) Many candidates from such parties fear even more security money demonstrating their participation. 5) They each a fixed symbol. 6) Limitation of star campaigns to 50 only. ECI does not have the power to deregister a party as per RPA. This was established in
