The fight against poverty is at the core of the Sustainable Development Goals. In this context, highlight the interlinkages between poverty alleviation and various SDGs. Also, assess the effectiveness of the measures taken by the government for achieving the same.

[SDG 1], private alleviation through multidimensional steps, it focuses on eradicating the overlapping challenge of Health, Education and standard of living. [SDG 4], Hunger: poverty alleviation would improve the food indices & WIDA 2013 provides subsidial food grains to 75% of population. [SDG 3], Right & wellbeing: poverty alleviation initiative eased provide data accessibility to affordable healthcare. Eg. Ayushman Bharat Initiative. Effectiveness of measures taken by the Government for achieving the same: 1. PDS system: it has certain challenges. 2. Like the Inclusion-Exclusion errors and also non-updation of beneficiary data since law came. 3. Education & Selectivity initiative eg. Pm Kaushal Vikas Yojana – do not have good employability record and also the dropout rates as high. 4. Women related initiatives: Beti Bachao Beti Padhyap has not implemented Plan letter & spirit – Perception. 5. Livelihood: Pm Awas Yojana – region specific & population haven't been achieved. Way forward: To assess the poverty alleviation goals linked with various SDGs, we need to shift from Governance of SbSo to Governance at federation.
