BRICS is a grouping of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. Recently BRICS expanded into BRICS+ with addition of new member like UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Iran and Ethiopia. An alliance covering the existing least Democratic model of Zlemote System. Grouping during combined GDP of 25% of world, 46% population and major energy exporters. Reverse the idea of South South Cooperation. Leadership dedollarisation of global trade nexus reorganising it.
Internal challenges: The grouping slid into democracies vis-à-vis authoritarianism issue in Indo-China. Record Tram-Levski Division also hampers the grouping integrity. Challenges of BRICS+: Lack of cooperation, Deficit in all counters with churn. Ensures there is lack of international trade. India-Brazil trade very limited. Diverse stance on global issue like Russia-Ukraine war & Israel-Hamas war. Other issue: Seen as anti-west grouping. Sinocentric order of BRICS. Concept of BRICS currency still a just idea.
Ways to manage vulnerabilities: Comes out with BRICS secretariat for a dedicated opening to execution of lower office BRICS energy. Broad conserving on issue of terrorism & sovereignty. Force upon for India balance its trade deficit with China & improve economic relation with member. The growing economies of world like BRICS need used cooperation for realizing the idea of unity of voice & unity of purpose.
