There can be no genuine Asian century without amicable India-China relations. Comment.

Necessity of amicable India-China relations: 1. Economic growth requires period of peace. 2. A kinetic war will drag the hard-earned socio-economic growth back by decades. 3. A multipolar world is in the interest of both. 4. High defence expenditure can be avoided -> Utilise to escape 'Middle Income Trap'. 5. Join hands to ensure regional peace, counter terrorism, energy security and maintain supply chains. Despite some convergence of interests, amicable India-China relations remain a pipe-dream in accordance with geopolitical realism.
