What roles do community-based interventions play in enhancing access to preventive and promotive healthcare?

Article 39 promotes healthy life (also Article 47) by Indian state. However, huge shortfalls of such role are filled by community-based interventions. (1) Role in enhancing preventive healthcare: -> Increasing awareness through pamphlet, narrated videos door to door training etc (eg - ASHA) -> (2) Devise innovative localized solutions based on local disease epidemics -> (3) Promote food security through bioenrification (eg - SHG in UP) Promotive healthcare: (1) Create accountability PHC, quality delivery (eg - Social audit in SJKrm) (2) Provide access to Severe Medicine through cooperative (PM Jan Arogeshi) (3) Demand PDS for quality food to fight 'silent hunger' (4) Distribute Sanitary napkins, contraceptives, educate on family planning (eg - Brumashalam - PAOMAM) Others agg help make 'Sahakari a Sahayogi' for PSCs achievement.
