Additional points on PAC's role: (3) PAC reviews the reports published by Comptroller and Auditor General CAG about various ministries and departments (4) CAG acts as friend and advisor of PAC (5) PAC reviews income and expenditure profile of various other organizations which do not fall under other financial committees (6) PAC reviews the expenditure to see whether it met its purpose or not. However there are some issues with PAC like: (1) It does only post-mortem work (2) Suggestions are recommendatory and not binding (3) Inefficient functioning and lower number of all meeting.
