India is world's largest democracy while USA is modern world's oldest democracy but both share a different system of both share a different system of parliamentary & presidential systems respectively. The presidents of USA & India have differences in mode of election & powers too. Mode of election: - USA President: (1) Direct election; (2) Large collegium consisting of all eligible citizens; (3) First past the post. - Indian President: (1) Indirect election; (2) Small collegium (2) consisting of MPs & MLAs); (3) Proportional representation. Hence, we see stark differences in mode of election of both presidents.
