Explain the concept of rain shadow effect. How does it influence the distribution of precipitation and vegetation across mountain ranges?

Rain shadow effect: Breaking down within lowering, it means a [shadow] created due to lack of rain, similar to a shadow created when there is lack of sunlight. Illustration: When a moisture carrying wind is obstructed by a mountain, the wind rises [cost down] and carries heavy rain on the leeward side of the mountain, but minimal rain on the [leeward side]. Why? Because the descending dry air on the 'rain shadow' region has no moisture. This is called the 'Rain Shadow Effect'.
Impact on the distribution of Precipitation & Vegetation: Since precipitation x vegetation are interlinked, we will see them together. (1) Heavy rainfall: Heavy Evergreen vegetation. (2) The Cevrom class records >200cm of rainfall due to [Rain shadowing effect]. (3) Similarly, the Himalaya wettest place on earth, gets rain due to the [Gates (Khasi Hills)] structuring Mensam winds. So, the rain shadow effect explains the premise of 'Teak, Sal, Tectaram' in some areas, 'Mahogany' in some areas x Ursiny Bambel in some areas.
