Criminalization of India under Article 19 gives freedom to choose any profession and abolish any discrimination based upon that Sex workers face various problems when as: a Violation of fundamental rights - People discriminate them and isolate sex workers for equality laws. b They are denied rights to reside by the society due to which every have to live in certain ghettos. c Due to inclusion, they are not included in any public welfare schemes like National Food Security, PH Garhi Kalyan Yojana. d They cant afford recent healthcare facility due to poverty. Also not beneficiary of Pradhan Mantri Arogya Yojana. e No legitimacy to their children, due to which they also suffer from same profession in future. Solution: a Inclusion of sex workers is to public welfare schemes by increasing of awareness and idealing them. b Involvement of civil society organization CSO, NGOs to bridge the gap. c Giving adequate dignified and respect to them and their children by ensuring education rights to them. Our Preamble, DPSP, Fundamental right all envisage to create a society which is inclusive and uphold dignity of every section including sex workers.
