Potential to bring new revolution: (1) Accessibility - Reach serrvice rural areas (~5% only hospital beds in urban/rural areas) (2) Affordability - Reduced logistics travel ct cost due to telemedilation (3) Maintain registry of doctors, staff & hospital to utilities in crises (eg pandemic) (4) Reduce out of pocket (OOPE) expenditure for 48.8% currently under large scale privatisation
Easy referral from primary to secondary health sector uta integrated ecosystem. Challenges: Fragmented health sector reducing economics of scale. Poor digital infrastructure & literacy especially in PHCs (NCDP). Concerning privacy & confidentiality of personal doctor.
