The veto powers of the President of India is dealt in Article 111 of the Constitution.
President of India enjoys 3 types of veto namely:
I) Absolute Veto - This type of veto is exercised when he feels when he withholds his assent of a bill. This type of veto is exercised in two cases:
(i) in the case of private members' bill
(ii) in the case when a bill is presented to him after the Parliament as well as state legislature.
ii) Absolute Veto - This type of veto is enjoyed by President when a bill does not take action when a bill is presented to him.
Specified in the Constitution, a President has 30 days within the case where a bill is presented to him. However if the constitutional amendment bill.
