Main Body

Agri Stack refers to the agricultural ecosystem to bring larger overhaul in Agriculture sector to achieve Precision farming (Agri 4.0). Certification, blockchain based + sensor network. Direct Benefit (Agri Stack): E-Nam for price discovery, Tractors like e, SANTA for certification and standardization, Blockchain based data recording and interimage with warehousing. Role of Agri Tech in Penetration of Technology: Input Data Decision Making - Weather modelling and geospatial data can allow farmers to undertake better decision making. Input Management - Sensors for soil health management. Marketing of Goods - E-Nam to ensure price discovery, Portals like e-SANTA for certification and standardization, Blockchain based data recording and interimage with warehousing. Agriculture extension and research through AT <HL models. (Agristack Solving Farm Crisis): Environmental crisis - Agristack, Its GroundwaterBetter not of nutrient. Soil salinization and soil pollution. Quality & quantity focus as per soil
Social media to give real time updates (eg N-LKISAN). Homes - Provisions of subsidy through DBT mechanism (eg N-KISAN, PM-KISAN). Quality & quantity focus as per soil. Economic crisis - Marketing of goodsPrice discovery potential, Blockchain + SWAMITVA for land records led to credit facility, P2P Orderly. Insurance premium model. Other challenges like productivity, obsolescence can be solved by better extension services coupled by mechanization (eg Isreal agri). Technology can be significant in ensuring growth at grassroots leading to farmer welfare & asset development

India has advanced its target of E-20 to 2015, 20% biofuel in fuels will ensure energy security (30% will is imported), reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reduction in current Account Deficit and softened police for consumers. Provisions of National Biofuel policy: Classify biofuels - 1st genfeed grain based, 2nd genrotten grains non good, 3rd genDeveloped using GMO, 4th genalgae based. Allows use of wasps like Cassava, Sugarcane (starch-ched) for conversion. Mechanisms to develop value chain for ethanol management. Public private partnership for better
harvesting of biofuels without compromise on food security. Role of technology to increase uptake. Subsidies sage for many parts. Challenges in smooth Implementation: Food security and groundwater - IFRT global food policy report says that India's good production will decline by 14% by 2050 value to climate stresses. Thus diversion to ethanol is risky (high water uptake). Issues innate to biofuels (eg Ethanol) - low energy density of fuels, Highly corrosiveincrease safes for engine. Limited uptake in petrol whereas most GHG emissions from mobility in through heavy duty diesel vehicles. Reduced/limited action on Biodiesel and Methanol (only 5% mixing for Biodiesel). Reduced Jay following of ethanol

Based system due to rise of EV's, fuel cell (hydrogen). Poor consumer uptake as demand of fuel not decreasing but cost of maintenance increasing. Oil Marketing companies issues - (lack of co storage and priority of) Way Forward: Hybrid blend needed (EV + Hydrogen, Ethanol). Focus on biodiesel to ensure glax fuel in trucks_blues. Change in vehicle standards to make them 100% glax fuels. Increase public subsidy & training. Ethanol economy also helps farmers to get high prices and answer better led growth and also solve WTO's subsidy problems
