The National Health Policy 2017 called for adoption of universal health care coverage giving health as a recognition as a basic right. However, government policies including Ayushman Bharat and others have failed to recognize right to health as a basic right. Ayushman Bharat 5 & 5 talks, coverage of poor and vulnerable families causing secondary and tertiary healthcare. However, Ayushman Bharat does not cover all the eligible and family

falling short of idea of right to health.

2Setting up nursing college in each district
3National Health Policy 2017 recommended 2/3rd expenditure to be made on primary healthcare only an unwanted healthcare population can make India truly Atmanirbhar Bharat.
