Despite the implementation of numerous policies and schemes aimed at combating hunger and malnutrition in the country, their effectiveness remains limited. Analyse.

India is one of the biggest country where the people die due to hunger and malnutrition. The schemes and policies targeted the public remain aloof from the public due to less awareness and low outreach.

Issues with the effectiveness:

(I) The large scale of population is unemployed and therefore, less income to support their food.

(I) There should be the use of ICT to monitor the scheme.

Hunger & Malnutrition as the hurdle in the growth of the people and it must be addressed to achieve SDG.

Good-Governance is the basic tenet of the democratic governance. It enables the government to be accountable and deliver the promise of sustainability and inclusivity in the human development.

Challenges to the Good Governance:

(I) On the front of Accountability:

(II) On the sustainability front:

L less participation of women, transgender in the governance.

L Increasing violence and hate speech against the minorities.
