Main Body

Gupta age in the North India and Chola period in South India are referred as golden ages of heritage.

Gupta period:

1Literature: Huge corpus of Sanskrit literature created. eg: Meghadutah & Kalidasa).
2Science and technology: Books of advanced mathematics written. eg: Aryabhata( Aryabhata) Ashtangasangraha(Vagabhata)

Many heritage of Guptas and cholas have got UNESCO World heritage sites eg: Tanjore temple etc. It has left a rich legacy to study socio-economic condition of their society
