Dandi March, carried out by Mahatma Gandhi and his followers in 1930 after rejection of his 11 demands by the British.
They marched to Dandi coast. Mahatma Gandhi took a handful of salt from the ground, kicking off the Civil Disobedience Movement.
Significance of Dandi March:
