It was ill-conceived strategy :-

1. Uncincaid in haste - it was not well thought out and hastily drafted.

2. Focused on inward looking strategy to restrict access to means of

Economic resources such as food, women etc to the eastern British force.

3. Napoleon believed that economic blockade would lead to (a) Drying up of resources (b) Reduction in capability to forces to fight in war. (c) Reduce supplies for soldiers and war groups.

4. Also, he thought would lead to the losing of force and withdrawal of armies.

5. Napoleon believed that it would weaken the militarily and internal support

to the forces would also not be possible.

C. However, this did not work as the ministry and political support from other nations compensated for lack of economic resources.

This finally led to the defeat of Napoleon in the war which he could have caused on weakening the opposite force and also not offering too many factor for the war.
