EVOLUTION OF INDIAN CLASSICAL DANCE -

ANCIENT PHASE

CHARATNATYAM - it traced its origin from the Naindau tradition and is thus often called as DACHIYATTAM

It developed in Tamil Nadu around the regions of Tanjore.

It is called the FIRE DANCE as the dome follows the movement of atoms.

2. MOHINIYATTAM - in Kerala based on the legend of Mohini of Vishnu dorm used white and off-white colours and more emphasis on LASYA element are element.
