Main Body

Rocks are conglomerations of mineral in physical form.

Types of Rocks: Igneous, Metamorphic, Sedimentary

Nature of Rocks:

(I) Igneous Rocks:

i) Hardest and densest

ii) No aquifers

iii) No fossils

iv) Minerals - Ferrous and non ferrous

(D) Sedimentary Rocks:

i) Lightest

ii) Excellent aquifers and fossil density

iii) Useful in construction

iv) Non ferrous minerals

(E) Metamorphic Rocks (e.g., Marble):

i) Less poor quality

ii) Less aquifers; fossils present

iii) Presents in so interiors, loss at surface

iv) Non ferrous minerals

Nature Made of Origin:

(I) Igneous - from voloas [volcanoes], then solidified after cooling.

(B) Sedimentary - from coal compaction, lithification of deposited material.

(B) Metamorphic - pressure, temperature action by local cord action, below mountain.

Conclusion: Hence, all rocks are essentially in a cyclical pattern forming from one stage to another.
