Bring out the interdependence between physical and chemical weathering with suitable examples.
Introduction
Weathering can be defined as the process involving breakdown of a geophysical relief and its transportation of different places.

Main Body
Weathering of igneous rock: Two types of weathering:- Physical weathering -> Chemical weathering. Physical weathering it refers to the disintegration of rock due to physical factors like sunlight (temperature change), water percolation in soil, highly common in hot water regions. Chemical weathering - This type of weathering involves chemical reaction on the weathered rock. Selection of carbonate rock in water. Abrasion of rock assisting, alteration etc. Common in tropical areas etc.
Interdependence between physical and chemical weathering:- (1) The physical disintegration of rocks makes easy, if it is already weathered by the chemical process. (B) Rusting of rock due to chemical weathering at later physical erosion. (2) The chemical weathering of already physically weathered rocks:- (C) exfoliation of rock at later chemical weathering (solution). Point (D) Hydrolysis rock. The weathering of rocks - through both forces have: (D) Hydrolysi rock. Thus, both types of weathering are mutually dependent and relatively exclusive at the onset to the same.
Conclusion
Thus, both types of weathering are mutually dependent and relatively exclusive at the onset to the same.
