Temperature distribution plays a huge role in sustenance of human life on Earth. Following are the factors responsible for it:

Latitudes: Places at the equator and middle latitude see receive more insolation, than places at poles and high latitude.

The axial tilt of the Earth and Revolution along with rotation and Revolution – determine which plate will receive more insolation at what time.

Land and water – Area near land gets heated up faster due to heat absorbing capacity of land. Places near water get heated up slower.

Influence of Oceanic currents - come flowing like Gulf Stream, Kuroshio currents distribute heat across the Earth. Deep ocean currents like Atlantic Meridian over turn circulation. Human activities like emissions, aerosol generation, global warming, sublimation also influence the distribution of heat in Earth. Global planetary winds like jet streams, and westerlies, extratropical cyclones help distribute heat on the Earth.

According to the IPCC report AR 6, the heat on Earth is rising and it out of control. If nothing is done it will prove catastrophic for human life on Earth.
