Option 2: Apologise such rash decision and accept the onus of the proceedings.
Option 3: Apologise for taking such step but justify the urgency of such action — livelihood of staff and no decision by head in this regard. Request for non-transfer.
I will select Option 3 because of the following:
i) It will help to save the livelihood of the staff.
ii) The process of upskilling and reskilling of staff could help in better efficiency and stop outsourcing.
iii) Explore option of voluntary retirement scheme before outsourcing.
iv) Issue of data privacy will be taken up.
My action well have long-term influence as—
— More deliberation in picture before outsourcing such works.
— Continuous improvement in the workforce.
— Right to livelihood as one of the basic human rights will be ensured.
