Explanation

In Northeast India, the Brahmaputra is known as the Dihang (Siang/Dihang) as it flows through Arunachal Pradesh before entering Assam. The Dikhow, Subansiri, and Teesta are different rivers and do not carry this name. Hence the river called Dihang is the Brahmaputra.
