Explanation

Texas Instruments set up its research and development centre in Bengaluru in 1985, widely recognised as India's first Global Capability Centre (captive offshore R&D unit). Cognizant, Accenture and Capgemini established their major India operations later. It began as a small R&D team and grew into one of TI's major design centres worldwide.
