Explanation
The Sirat-i-Firuz Shahi, an anonymous work written during Sultan Firoz Shah Tughlaq's reign, describes his removal of two Ashokan pillars from Topra and Meerut to Firuzabad, including the painted illustration of the Topra pillar's transport. The Tarikh-i-Firuz Shahi is Ziauddin Barani's chronicle and the Akbarnama is Abu'l Fazl's history of Akbar's reign - neither contains this illustration.
