Explanation

Intercalary meristems are located at the bases of leaves and at internodes - the stem portions between the points where leaves join - enabling regrowth as seen in grasses. Apical meristems occupy root and shoot tips (option C), and lateral meristems lie in the vascular and cork cambia (option B). The base of the flower pedicel is not a meristem site.
