Explanation

Mission Indradhanush, launched in December 2014, aims at achieving full immunisation of children (and pregnant women) against seven (later expanded) vaccine-preventable diseases, targeting 90 per cent coverage. It is not limited to reducing pneumonia deaths, rotavirus impact, or maternal tetanus alone — full immunisation is the mission's stated goal.
