If the speed of a moving magnet inside a coil increases, the electric current in the coil
General KnowledgePhysics
- Aincreases
- Bdecreases
- Creverses
- Dremains the same
Explanation
By Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, the induced current depends on the rate of change of magnetic flux through the coil. Moving the magnet faster increases that rate of change, so the galvanometer shows a larger induced current. Hence the current increases.
