Explanation

The National Cadet Corps' motto is ‘Unity and Discipline’ (Ekta aur Anushasan), adopted at the 12th Central Advisory Committee meeting of the NCC in 1980. It reflects the NCC's core aim of developing character, comradeship and leadership among youth through disciplined training. The NCC was raised in 1948 under the NCC Act and is the world's largest uniformed youth organisation. None of the other motto options has ever been adopted by the NCC.
