Explanation

Manimekalai, the Tamil Buddhist epic, was composed by Sathanar (Seethalai Sathanar). Ilango Adigal wrote the Silappatikaram, Kovalan is a character in it and Tirutakkatevar wrote the Jivaka Chintamani. Hence the author is Sathanar.
