Explanation

The Son, Mahananda and Sharada (Sarda) all drain into the Ganga system — the Son from the south, the Mahananda and Sharada from the north. The Teesta, by contrast, is a tributary of the Brahmaputra in the eastern Himalayas, so it is not a Ganga tributary.
